Library Best User Award

To motivate the students to make the efficient use of the library and its services, the ‘Best Library User Award’ was started in the Academic year 2012-2013. Library Advisory committee will be selecting 2 students every year on the basis of the statistical data, accession of books, reading aptitude of the student, utilization of library resources and discipline. Every year this Award conferred on the occasion of Annual Day Celebration.

National Librarian’s day celebration

Birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan is celebrated on August 12 every year. He is considered a Father of Library and Information Science in India and his contributions to the field are his five laws of library science and the development of the first major faceted classification system.
